Subway joins the 'meatless' food trend

https://www.theverge.com/2019/8/7/20758429/subway-beyond-meatball-marinara-sub-meatless-restaurant-testing-us-canada

Subway is getting in on the meatless food trend. The company plans to test a new sub, called the Beyond Meatball Marinara, in 685 restaurants in the US and Canada. The test begins in September and is available for a limited time only, although Subway hasn’t said how long that period will be.

Still not a reason to go to Subway

I've noticed many fast food chains who are not noted for the quality of their meat, or anything else, are jumping on this bandwagon... Good luck to them...

Geee   ... if I want a salad I would get one!   ... But for now, it would be a Italian BMT sub with double meat.    and it better be the REAL DEAL!
