Sunday Brunch or Lunch around Cary, NC

We are going to be in the Cary, NC area Saturday night and are looking for a good spot for Sunday lunch or brunch. BBQ is fine if there are other choices available. My wife isnt the Q fanatic that my son and I are. We are hitting Lexington BBQ on Saturday. I know I can easily search here but I like reading the suggestions and comments. We will be heading South so dont need to go too far north. Thanks in advance.

chickenplucker - You may like Lucky 32 for lunch. Southern food in a contemporary style.

The NC State Farmers Market is also close by and serves really good Southern fare.

Notice that I am steering you to Southern food. You have a reputation.

We went to Lucky 32 with my favorite Martian in 2013. He included their Brunswick Stew in his 2013 My Year in Roadfood report.

Both of those look interesting. Thank you. That Brunswick Stew looks good too but I live in the heart of stew country...

JRPfeff the recommendation of NC State Farmers Market was a good one. Thank you. We went Sunday morning and while it was busy we only waited 20 minutes or so. The biscuits here will hold up to any that I have had. Soft and flaky insides with a nicely toasted top and bottom. Paired with butter and molasses here.

The North Carolina country ham is some of the best I have tasted.
