Thanks for saying that, Keith. The IT guys were basically up all night with this one. I don't know what exactly was wrong, but it is now fixed. Yay!

The forums being down for a few days was a reminder of how much I missed it when it wasn't there.  Another big thank you to the IT guys!

Thank you IT folks!  I didn't even bother taking a picture of Valentine's Day dinner.........filet mignon Marchand de vin, pommes Darphin and another French favorite, Mississippi Mud Pie.  There was nowhere to post them!

Glad it's back and running!

But, the job is not done until blame has been assigned!

So I'm blaming those sellers of cheap kitchens, angry at not meeting their quotas.

Not that it's necessarily the case here, but many times "the IT guys fixed the problem" really means "the IT guys un-broke whatever it was they broke in the first place".

As an IT professional I can say this from experience.

I've been in IT since 2004, and yep, this is definitely true more often than we would like you think... but it's just as often that something breaks due to circumstances totally beyond our control.  We're used to getting no recognition but shrieks of rage - so it's very gratifying to see the appreciation in this thread!

A quick trip to White Castle would've fixed that.

So, is there any word on what they fixed or improved? It would be nice to get some functionality back in the user control panel and our personal info.

There were some desperate moments there where the thought did occur.  Thank goodness it didn't come to that.

I'm glad to see that everything is back to normal.  I also missed it every day that it wasn't there to greet me in the morning.  After 17 years of going to this website every day (and 15 as an occasional poster), it just seems odd not having roadfood.com as part of my daily life.
