The "Best" Diners In Every State

Not totally sure about some of the places on this list, but a few of them have been mentioned in trip reports here. The choice of Tudor's Biscuit World for West Virginia is strange, though. There are certainly some that I'd give a try, if I were in the neighbourhood. Never been to Maxine's Chicken and Waffles in Indy, but I do like chicken and a good waffle is hard to beat. It's near to where my wife works and she says it's a bit sketchy, but that's not a killer for me.

    "True" diners are so much fun and such true roadfood establishments that two threads are better than none!!!!!

    That de-slide website is truly awesome! I cannot believe I haven't heard of it until now. What a great way to view those frustrating slide shows! Thanks!
