    Does this sound like a clam pie even though you purists would say no?

    Is it similar?

    Pizzetta: Ipswich Clams with garlic, chiles, oregano, Parmigiano & Pecorino

    I want to go tomorrow, either way!

    But alas, I can't.  Remodel begins.

    There is no "purist" when talking about real pizza. Italians would tell you, you can put anything, in any variety on pizza. That's a real made pizza. We don't discuss chain abominations. In Italy. I've had countless varieties and combinations....all interesting and fun!! Quality ingredients baked correctly,equals pizza.

    Maryland = Ledo Pizza?!?!

    I like Ledo pizza.  A lot.

    I liked it better when the original (only) location existed in Hyattsville, MD, before franchising.  I know a lot of people who hate Ledo pizza.

    The best in Maryland? Germany is the 'best' in soccer now as they won the World Cup.  There is no World Cup of pizza.

    And remember: "Ledo pizza is square be cause they never cut corners."

    I also like Ledo Pizza, but I'm sure there must be a "Mom & Pop" pizza joint somewhere in Maryland that is better.
    The Virginia selection: Pupatella Neapolitan Pizzeria has been written up in a number of publications recently. Another restaurant to add to my list of places to try out.

    Zaffiro's in Milwaukee is fantastic pizza-cracker thin crust, excellent sausage...
    Good choice, imo.

    Not with the budget to grease MSN's palm to get include on the list.

    Matthew's Pizza is excellent!!

    I'd have no problem voting them a #1 mom & pop place!!
