The Dutchman Foodtruck build
I have been lurking on the forums for about 2 years now, getting a lot of inspiration on starting my own build.
Bit of a background on me I moved to the US about 3 years ago from The Netherlands to be with my wife who is American.
And I have been working in the restaurant industry for about 12 years, now I feel it's time to finally start showing my own creativity in food rather than my boss his creativity.
I am currently still working on my business plan, and hope to get my financing and buy a truck in September.
And will be aiming for opening for business in March 2019.
I am planning on starting a truck to run breakfast and lunch from with a couple of traditional Dutch dishes, and some well-known dishes with my own interpretation.
How realistic am I being with giving myself about 6 months to complete the build of the truck?
I will be able to spend between 16 to 20 hours a week on it.
