Tom Petty

First we hear about Vegas & the day after we lose Tom Petty. Not a good week for music!

the thing about Tom Petty was that he was always a real person. He just seemed like "one of us". No rock star/music legend attitude. His kind comes around rarely, glad I was fortunate enough to have heard him.

Agreed...Saw him 2x w/ the Heartbreakers, and once w/ Dylan and the Grateful Dead...w/Jerry.

Here's my recollection of TP, who I met several times and got to know. He was one of the good ones.
