Try this for breakfast!
Parmesan French Toast:
Dip your bread in the usual egg mixture. Coat it on both sides with SHREDDED Parmesan cheese. Cook gently in butter/light olive oil. (Don't turn the heat up too high, the cheese turns bitter if it burns.) Serve with powdered sugar and butter. Or maple syrup. Or just eat it as it comes out of the skillet. This is great for any meal. I used to make it for breakfast customers at the cafe where I was chef. They loved it. It's also a nice change from the garlic/cheese bread you serve with pasta.
