Hmm.  Cincinnati chili made with goetta?  Now that would be weird...

Not to a vegetarian...

5. Indiana's Roast Beef Manhattan, according to the article, "It's a roast beef sandwich and mashed potatoes, both of which are completely COVERED in brown gravy and sugar cream pie."  Bull****!  Not a single listing for this dish includes sugar cream pie.  It is just an open faced sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy.  Weird indeed.

It's possible this submission is really just a grammatical mess...is sugar cream pie a popular dessert served alongside a Manhattan?

Since goetta has ground pork in it, I don't see why Cincinnati chili made with goetta wouldn't be 'weird' to a vegetarian...

Maines's Needham chocolates taste very very close to a Mounds bar. Bob and his sister made these one Christmas and they were wonderful.

If only I'd had ANY idea those were a Maine thing when I was there! I spent a great deal of time in a chocolate shop, too.

A friend of mine was recently in Australia and brought me Vegemite as a gift.  I have yet to try it but apparently is a huge snack there.  https://whatscookingamerica.net/History/VegemiteHistory.htm

Vegemite is made from brewers yeast left over from making beer. It is not one of my favorite things.

That would be the song 'Down Under' by Men at Work and released in 1981.  Both Men at Work and Vegemite are Australian.
