I've stopped watching The 100 , but  maybe I'll jump to the last episode. The Ken Burns Vietnam series comes to me via discs on Netflix, so I watch as it comes in, but it is more education than entertainment. It explains to me the mind set of the men who brought me up in the Corps. The Good Place remains worth watching as does Superior Donuts.

I didn't watch my alma mater become the first #1 seed lose to a #16.  If I had, I'd probably be out buying another T.V.

Little by little, I'm going through the best series ever episode by episode, year by year.  When it ended a few years back I suspected what had happened, but not in the detail explained in this short video:

I don't know what the ratings for Superior Donuts are but to me the show's definitely improved since its debut last season.  I've been a fan of Judd Hirsch since his Taxi days and he's working with a good cast.

Anyone who thinks Dylan McDermott is only a dramatic actor might want to check out his "Captain Dave" character on the reality-grounded, semi-absurd comedy L.A. to Vegas (Fox).

"TIMELESS" is back on. Maybe the time off let me get unexcited, but I don't enjoy it as much. A few pages back, Metro mentioned that if the show came back, we might learn more about "Rittenhouse". The show is back, but I find myself confused and bored by the whole "Rittenhouse" idea.

I am re-watching season 1 of Atlanta because season 2 just started and I can't remember everything that happened.  This happens to me a lot when I binge watch a show and then it's a full year before the next season comes out.  Anyways, it's a great show.

MVC!  MVC!

Since I don't have cable or a dish it looks like I won't be watching the last 3 games of the tournament at home.  They're all on TBS, which absolutely blows.  Major championship games should be on OTA TV.

Just finished "The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling".  Loved it.  I've been a huge fan of stand-up comedy since I was a little kid and used to stay up late to watch Evening at the Improv.  Garry Shandling's influence in comedy was much more far reaching than I ever would have imagined.  He mentored many young comedians and never stopped working on and off stage to do the best work possible.

CNN's series on the history of the Papacy, Sunday nights.

As a Protestant I was never much interested in this topic until the remarkable life of Karol Wojtyla, St. John Paul II, truly one of the greatest and most consequential of any 20th. Century man.

I have been enjoying a show called Nailed it!  it's on Netflix and it's about people who at not great at baking trying to recreate fantastic baked creations in a competition .  I find myself yelling  " you forgot the flour!" and laughing at the crazy looking results.

Anthony Bourdain's "Parts Unknown" Sunday nights on CNN.

As my great grandmother came from 'the hollows', his show on (primarily) the mountain culture of West Virginia was of particular interest to me.  It was truly wonderful.  It re-runs Sunday, May 6 at 8 PM EDT.  I recommend it highly.

BTW:  you don't have to "like" Bourdain to appreciate his shows.  As for his "political" point-of-view, so what.  I admire his openness and honesty about his preconceptions.  And each of his shows is a 'learning experience' both for his viewers and for him.  Great stuff!

I love a great turn-of-phrase.  That's why - 'politics' aside - I admire the work of Aaron Sorkin, Jon Stewart, Anthony Bourdain, and others.

As I will be watching the Senate Intelligence hearing this week regarding Mrs. Haspel, I "warmed up" with some of Sorkin's best work:
