What has been your refrigeration brand experience?

Need to purchase some refrigeration equipment for my food truck.  Single door reach in and a sandwich prep table.  What has been your experience with different brands?  Are there any off brands that are any good?  Everest, artic air, advantco? Or just stick to your name brands?  True mfg, beverage air, traulsen?

I've had the best luck with True.  Well made and even the shelves are heavier duty than some of the competitors.  Others may chime in but I'm a big fan.  Biggest thing is fine exactly what units (sizes and layouts of shelves, etc.) fit exactly what you need and go from there.  There are many similar models but with very different setups between the brands

I have a True 2 door sand table, thermostat has gone out twice in 3 years, stays cold.
Everest 2 door reach in holds temp very well, no problems.
If you have the space go with a 2 door, one will fill up Very quick.

We bought a true single door prep fridge for $450.00 for years ago, we love it and hope it will last forever.

Bumping this up. Considering True and Everest. The unit will be approx 68" long and 27" wide which is a standard size lowboy. Which brand do you prefer and why? thanks

See my post #3 from 2013....
Three years later, my True has been repaired for the last time, its good enough to keep running for a few more months. It's now in hospice. The Everest has never skipped a beat.

the greatest majority of professional coolers and freezers, no matter what the name stuck on them are actually True units. Keep the coils clean and unrestricted and they will last forever.

The problem with mine is leaks in the evap coil. It can only be soldered so many times.
