What’ll It Be for the New York Diner?

I found this Grub Street article about the demise of New York diners. A sad story.

Who do you think ordered the food in this picture?

Certainly no one person could eat all that, so I'll say it was two people, ChiTownDiner and buffetbuster with youngster ChiBears15 standing by to pick up any crumbs left behind by the geezers.

Here's what it SHOULD be, even if just once:
    https://www.yelp.com/biz/ellens-stardust-diner-new-york
The Stardust food is pretty good,at New York prices, but the claim to fame here is the FREE entertainment. Most are broadway singers and understudies etc who are amazing. We sat for a few hours, and this one time actor got goosebumps many times. Don't often see standing ovations in a diner/restaurant. Singing is continuous!!  Linger and enjoy. We stayed almost two hours. Fairly long line to get in, but we were in in 15 minutes.
