Real crab would get lost in that salad AND... I'd have to spend $100 to get it not counting the other things I'd buy at Costco.

Key Lime is Divine!

I might try the Habanero tonight.  It's a fruit and habanero but without looking i don't remember which fruit.

They also had a sriracha flavor and pumpkin.  Those two are making their way into everything.  That needs to stop!

Wouldn't have to be King crab.  I was thinking more like Maryland crabmeat.  Or, on the W. Coast, Dungeness crabmeat.

We do not have fruit/habanero, sriracha or pumpkin.    Next time I'll look for Key lime and lemon.

There is nothing wrong with Surimi, as long as you don't expect it to taste like real crab.  I'm rather fond of it sautéed in lots of butter and sprinkled with Old Bay.

I wouldn't buy this one again.  I dislike raspberry seeds.  There is a definite heat factor that doesn't add to it other than heat.

That one hasn't made it to my neck of the woods, yet. We did get an apple and the pumpkin showed up for a while last fall. I'd love to try the Mexican chocolate, though. If it's as good as the blood orange or coconut, I'd be a frequent buyer and eater!

I've tried the coconut and it was quite good.  I haven't seen blood orange yet.

Too bad the lids don't fit snugly.  They'd be great for leftovers... but they're not.

Last night we had the rest of the red beans and rice.

I was bored out of my mind in the afternoon because of cool, rainy weather so I made a batch of chocolate chunk cookies.  2 dz. without nuts for MH and 1 dz. with nuts for me and Susie across the street.  I had one for dessert.

The plain raspberry has seeds, too, which bugs me as well. But it's still good. We don't have the raspberry habanero, but now i don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. I want blood orange now, too!

Couldn't find the Liberte' last night, but bonus for me Noosa was on sale and I had a coupon! They were out of tart cherry, though.

Dinner tonight is going to be Steak n' Shake, since it'll be open.

In celebration of Cinco de Mayo I made myself an Omelet.  Somewhere (Mexico?) it got scrambled in the translation.

Hongos!

We had ham and bean soup with cornbread.  It was a cool, rainy day and that hit the spot.

I took the day off work to buy a car, so I had time to cook, too! Lemon and dill chicken thighs, ranch and bacon pasta salad, bag salad

I do love it! I wanted another Grand Prix, but settled for a Grand Am since it was on the lot. Driving to work tonight was fantastic!

And since I'm back to work... it's 4:10am and I'm eating blueberry pop tarts and lemon Noosa.

Congratulations, Felix!  Enjoy it!

Note...  The Key Lime is way better than the lemon.  I also love the coconut!

And latkes.

Last night I tried to use up some things in the fridge.  I mixed the remainder of my tan tan mein with some stir fried meat and vegetables and more ramen noodles.  It was the wrong thing to do!

There are those who say that leftover pizza is best reheated on a griddle or in a skillet.  One day I may actually try that.

I need key lime Noosa in my life, but nobody carries it here.

Tonight I'm having leftover pasta salad, a toasted English muffin, some blueberry Noosa, and a banana. I got my container garden finished today, too!

I usually just eat leftover pizza cold because I don't own a toaster oven and I hate turning on the oven for so few minutes.

Now I want pizza. Or latkes.

I heat my leftover pizza in a covered skillet.  Mine is cast iron.  Makes the crust crispy, and gets the toppings hot too. I don't like heating up the oven for a slice either!

I find hot jerk sauce so addicting!  This is my second trip to   https://www.lajerkshack.com/

They have a very limited menu but the wings are dynomite!  I added more jerk sauce over the peas and rice.

Fabulous!

My Bride is visiting her sister in Annapolis for 9 days so I'm eating out at all the places she has no interest in.
]Tonight it was Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row in the Heritage District - Old Town Gilbert AZ!
 http://dierkswhiskeyrow.com/gilbert-az/
If you haven't been to Old Town Gilbert in a while, You'll be amazed! 10-15 restaurants have opened up in a 2-3 block area. Joe's BBQ has new neighbors!
Anyway, I had a humongous Soft Pretzel and a Blue Cheese 'N Bacon Slider washed down with a couple of amber beverages. Very good and hit the spot. And the Boot Scootin' Lady Bartenders were cute too!

One day off, one home-cooked meal, simply done. Broiled pork chops (rubbed with steak & burger seasoning), steamed local asparagus, berries tossed with sugar and blackberry-ginger balsamic vinegar.
