WOW!  Thanks!  I'm going to give it a go!

Oh, do you do a total natural or quick release?  That's the scary part!

Tonight's dinner was a huge Tri Tip Sandwich.

That pretty much describes it.  The coleslaw could have been a bit more creamy.  The sandwich was a bit dry for me, but truly delicious.

I made a fairly close approximation of cream of tomato soup using a can of crushed tomatoes, cream, and some herbs. And then I got lazy and made tuna salad sandwiches instead of grilled cheese. Whatever.

Nothing lazy there. Sounds fine!! Hell, I just grilled a burger and made some fries!

I scrounged.  Southwest-style snack mix, deluxe mixed nuts, bacon and toast.

Considering the name wouldn't 4:20 be a better choice for the timer display?

I headed over to Lim's in Chinatown for some Korean Fried Chicken but by the time I got there I had talked myself out of it and went for Dolsot Bibimbap.

The cucumbers and kimchi were fine; I could have done with several helpings of them.  The un-crispy noodle strips with bell pepper (?) didn't impress me much but I always like the banchan at Korean restaurants.

The Bimbimbap was decent, not the best I've ever had but not the worst.  Something was missing and I couldn't put my finger on it.  The egg was over-cooked so there wasn't much runny yolk to mix in; that's gochujang in the squeeze bottle on the left.  Maybe I should have asked for soy sauce?  I'm thinking, looking at the picture, the stir-fried veggies were under-cooked?  I'm not an expert on bibimbap so I don't know.  The hot stone bowl did it's part - there was a thick layer of crispy rice in the bottom, so tough I had trouble breaking it up even with the metal chopsticks.

There were pieces of beef under the egg.

Turkey pot pie!  Filling is made and the crust is chilling in the refrigerator, can roll it out in about 30 mins.

Parmesan-herb encrusted tilapia (I know, but we like it so whatever), Pasta Aglio e Olio (with egg noodles because that's what I own, also I completely forgot to grab parsley off the porch), and molasses & ginger glazed carrots.

The best part of a homemade pot pie filling is that there are no carrots...right?

A Filipino dish called Adobo Chicken Flakes, sunny side up eggs, and garlic rice.

I am following a recipe on Youtube. Looks a bit dry but I have some gravy left which I think will go well the adobo chicken.

Spent today making 5 dozen designer latkes.  I threw out 2 dozen and will try a different ethnic latke tomorrow.

It's time for our family Latke Cook-Off!

The first batch I made I used a recipe for Somosa filling.  I didn't care for any of the seed spices!  Trash

Then I made a Bengan Bharta (Eggplant stew sort of thing) recipe and mixed it into potatoes.  These have promise!

Tomorrow I might make potato and chorizo, onion and potato latkes or I might just go with the eggplant.

So for dinner I had 3 halves of a toasted bagel with butter.  It was perfect.

Potato and chorizo sounds like a winning combination to me!  IIRC in one of his books Rick Bayless has a taco filling recipe with those 2 main ingredients, so you could give the latkes a south of the border twist...but NO cilantro!!

Potato and chorizo sound fantastic!

Tonight I experimented with cloud eggs... they're pretty good, but not at all filling. Served them with carrot and potato pancakes and bacon.

Felix, your latke looks a lot better than mine did.  Two of my experiments wouldn't even keep together.

Tonight I had 1.5 green chili and cheese tamales from Costco.

I used my Instapot.  Came out really good.  It's so strange...  the pot doesn't make any noise and 40 minutes later with 20 more minutes of depressurizing and dinner is ready!

Thanks, Brad.  I like eating out of bowls.

Think I'll try doing the sauerkraut and kielbasa in the Instapot for New Year's Day.

So far I like it!  Now I need recipes.  Will try the pork ribs soon.
