It was not that great, was expensive, and I don't see it in stores anymore.

A number of breweries went into the ice cream business to stay afloat during prohibition, not just Yuenglings.  This ice cream was brought back by another member of the Yuengling family and not by the guy who owns the brewery.  They don't seem to say specifically that this is the original recipe.  It's still available in many stores in PA, the brewery's home territory.
I'd rate it higher than most supermarket ice cream (Bryer's, Edy's, etc.) and certainly higher than air-filled Ben and Jerry's.  They don't have my favorite flavors, so I don't get it often.
