The ideal road food place is the Coca Beach Cafe, on the southern tip of the island near the refinery- not a tourist area, except for a few bright tourist buses on the 'funky' tours- but good food (we had the ribs) and casual surroundings- rustic and right on the water. Locals come here to get away from it all. Go through St. Nicolas all the way to the end of the island, turn right and follow the sign (handpainted) directing one to 'Baby Beach'
