Where to eat in Findlay OH

Yes, I have looked.
I need your recommendations.
I am going from Cincinnati to Findlay, OH to see Johnny Mathis with my Mom in September.
We will make a couple days of it, so any good places to stop and good food ideas are appreciated.

Thank you!!

Never been there, but there's a list of restaurants in Findlay on Facebook. I saw a few places I'd like to eat, if I ever make it there. I'd obviously try the Root Beer Stand!

Wilson's Sandwich Shop is a terrific little hamburger stand.

How far do you want to travel?  One of the original Kewpee Hamburger stands is in Lima, about 20 miles down I-75 (on the way to Cincy, BTW).  Great griddle top Burgers in a classic Art Deco diner setting.

They have two other locations in Lima, but they're not as cool as this store.  Also a location in Racine, WI if you get lost.

I have heard great things about Wilson's but I've never been there.  I have been to a couple of places worth mentioning.  One is Tony's Ribs.  I have actually been there twice.  The ribs are good.  I don't believe they are smoked but still tasty.  My wife said the fried chicken was pretty good as well.  One of the highlights there is the salad bar.  It's huge and has was very fresh and well stocked.

I have also been to Logan's Irish pub which was good.  It's just standard Irish pub fare so if you;re in the mood for that it hits the spot for sure.

The place to not miss is Dietsch Brothers for ice cream and candy.   Really good for both things.

Buddy, I have a friend from Lima, and have been to Kewpee. Very cool place, and delicious burger. I may need to stop by again.
