    We use it in soup, of course, various pasta dishes, Barbecued with olive oil and garlic on aluminum foil on a grill...and our favorite dipped in flour and egg and pan fried...My mom made that over 7o years ago!

    I have also cut them in half, hollowed them out, stuffed and baked them.  Same with eggplant.  You can add sausage to the stuffing...…….or not...…..just vegetables.  Top with some grated Parmesan.

    Even better yet, grow pumpkins in the garden, just for the flowers (my Italian grandfather did this).  Make a beer batter, dunk the pumpkin flowers and fry them.  Delicious!
