This is something I was wondering about as well. My only concern is how much propane it would take to run a couple deep fryers a day? Just wondering how much it would cost.

No question about it. Gas. Much easier to come by than generator power. My 40,000btu/hr will use aprox 12gal/wk running 5 6hr shifts. Cost comparison was not in my equation when I had this same dilemma. I run 2 3,000w generators and I still lack on power some days. Yes, I like appliances and they are all researched for lowest wattage rating before purchasing. On top of the power issue, they do recover faster than electric as also mentioned above - something that is invaluable.

EC Mason - how much would it cost to run two electric units per day?
