I guess that message is confusing to me as a retired officer. Shift briefings typically included a casual BS session about who had a daily special, who had something new on the menu and what the pie of the day was at specific locales. I would like to think that a gathering of emergency resp
onders who are exposed to food on the run every single day would be a clue to good eats. My peer group would never tolerate poor food as we were all pretty dollar conscious and wanted the best bang for our buck.
