I'll be picking up a 6 of the Anchor Christmas Ale this week.
Then it ought to be here shortly.
Let me know what you think of it, wouldja?

P. S. Celebration Ale is a tad hoppier this year... it may have to do with the availability of hops from year to year. Or has the so-called hop shortage ended?
After dragging my feet on buying the 6 (no reason other than sloth), I strolled into a place today (The Dig Pub in Cedar Park, TX), and they had Anchor Christmas on tap! I had to pinch myself to make sure I hadn't kicked the bucket...
I would have to say that I liked it, but it was rather nondescript. I took great efforts to try and identify the tastes, without success. I wrote it off as perhaps my allergies fogging my taste buds, but the barmaid said that EVERYONE has been saying the same thing.
I would REALLY like to hear your take, when you taste it.
I surrounded it with a 512 Wit (Austin wheat), and a Live Oak IPA (Blanco, TX). Perhaps the Wit affected my buds, but it wasn't very hoppy. (It was, however, very yummy.)
