Re:Guinness Black Lager
I knew about the GBL but haven't tried it yet. I've been a Guinness fan ever since the my first pint was pulled many years ago in an English pub in Devon. However, the best pint I ever had was in a small bar (not pub) in Dublin. It was served with very thin crispy (fresh) fried potato "crisps". There's a world of difference between a "pulled" fresh draught and a Guinness (or, any beer or lager) from a can or bottle.
After reading some of the above comments, I would like to try the Sprecher Black Bavarian, too. I've never had it.
