Now who doesn't absolutely love cilantro?
Put me down as a hater.
I'm a big fan of fair food though. Here are some of my favourites:
1. The corn dogs at the Super Dog stands at the Canadian National Exposition in Toronto are fabulous! Long, lumpy and they taste just right!
2. Funnel cakes, elephant ears.
3. Naleway's deep fried perogies.
4. There was an ice cream waffle trailer that set up at the Western Fair in London, Ontario for over forty years. It featured the standard rectangle of vanilla ice cream between two thick waffles but what set it apart was their own cherry-strawberry sauce with lumpy pieces of cherry and strawberry. It was simply the best ice cream waffle I've ever tasted and nothing at the CNE comes close. Sadly the trailer sported a for sale sign about eight years ago and it's not reappeared.
