Mr. Sundancer, have you forgotten that Mr. Mayor and I like to arise before you porch dogs and seek out BBQ for breakfast?????
When I was a young man in the early 80's, I would often drive from my apartment in Austin to Louie Mueller's in Taylor for breakfast. Fred Fontaine, the pitmaster then, would open the place at 6 or 7. He would have a pot of fantastic coffee made, and he'd cut whatever was ready to eat there or to take out. It was a usual stop for the construction workers.
They don't do that now. It was different back then.
