I was thinking about it ...
After many years traveling with various racing entities, I've usually wound up in out of the way places and could never pass by a small town Memorial Day service.
I remember one in particular outside of Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. In 2008, I posted it once before, but it is heart warming:
... I didn't want to be intrusive, so I grabbed this picture at an odd angle.
Yesterday, I was driving from Sebring, Florida to Palm Beach and wound up in Okeechobee and enjoyed being part of their celebration.
Finally wound up in Jupiter to eat at a place called Hog Snapper's for their Big Ass Club (essentially roast beef, turkey, pastrami, corned beef, lettuce, bacon, tomato) ... I took a picture, I'll try to upload it and post it.
