Hella - I don't believe I've been a member long enough or posted enough to post pictures. Next best thing, I went to the Home Depot website and tried to search for what I purchased. Not as easy as I thought! After some serious googling it seems that I am referring to a 1 1/4" x 12" brass extension tube with slip joint connector in polished chrome coupled with a flanged drain tail piece in polished chrome of the same length.
Of course, I now hit my next stumbling block. This contraption slid down into the hole on the cart just fine, the umbrella pole slides into it very nice and snug. When the wind blows I am still dealing with the whole thing canting in one direction or the other. Now to find a way to stabilize the extension piece so that it is rigid and will not move.
Being a cart owner newbie with a used cart I am learning by trial and error. On the bright side, I now know more about plumbing, propane lines and burners, stainless steel, and pop rivets than I ever knew before!
