I made roast duck for dinner last Wednesday and one of the sides was ruby swiss chard. I had some leftover as my kids don't really like it.
At the BBQ my brother had after my niece's wedding on Sunday they served spinach dip and onion dip made with yogurt and low fat mayo, which they were so proud of. (yuk!!). I was inspired to make the spinach dip, which I rarely indulge in, using sour cream and real mayo for my 4th of July BBQ and decided to use the leftover swiss chard instead of spinach. It came out great!! When I'm in the mood for dip I don't want some low fat stuff. I don't eat it that often! I used Utz's Kettle Fried Gourmet Dark Russet Chips to dip. Very good!
