Cheese for hanky panky
For those of you not familiar, hanky panky is basically a mixture of equal parts ground beef, sausage, and cheese that's melted together, spread on cocktail rye squares, and baked or broiled. However, most recipes I've seen call for Velveeta and I'd like to use something more akin to real cheese.
The first one that comes to mind as a good choice for melting is American but I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestions. Thanks!
