where to start

I am interested in starting a roadside stand , I want to cook grilled goods. Everywhere I look all I can find is hotdog carts. Is there somewhere to look for a more specific design{used cart}.

Look at the top dog cart with the 24" Cecilware griddle. That is what I have.

The first order of business is to meet with your local health inspector to determine if they'll license the equipment you desire to purchase. I believe the state of Florida doesn't allow the grilling of raw food from a cart. They don't here in Wisconsin. You might want to connect with some of our Roadfood Florida street vendors. Check out the post on "grilled onions" in this forum and do a search "grilling off a cart."

In Florida, U are not ALLOWED to grill raw food of any kind on U'r cart..We have a grill and use it to grill our Dogs on request..Since that is about as far as u can legally go!!
